cge2k10.jpgAtariAge and Digital Press are proud to announce Retro Rumble, a joint venture aimed at joining retrogaming communities in a little spirited competition as well as co-op play. Retro Rumble will debut in Las Vegas at the Classic Gaming Expo 2010 on July 31st. The AtariAge and Digital Press exhibit areas will be mirror images with plenty of the great products you'd expect, but between the two booths will be a gaming area where various tournaments and challenges will be hosted throughout the 2-day event.

Are you the king of the road in Indy 500? Can you fend off the competition in a round robin Warlords tournament? Are you a better Mario in Mario Bros? Prepare to test your skills in an unforgettable union of gaming communities. Watch all THREE sites for more info and hints of what's to come: AtariAge, Digital Press, and Classic Gaming Expo in the days that lead up to the event.

Naturally, we'll see YOU there!

I'm looking forward to attending this year's show, as both an exhibitor and as a classic gaming enthusiast! It's been a long time since I've been to CGE and I know everyone's going to have a blast. Joe and I will be planning lots of fun activities, and I have plans for some great games releases and demos for the show. :)

This has been a long time coming. As both long time fan and supporter of both Digital Press and Atari Age, I'm glad to see the two come together again. The Classic gaming community should be ONE big community, not two or more divided. I've never missed a CGE yet, and I do miss the days of EVERYONE together under one roof. This IS going to be a great year for classic gaming and classic gamers. I do thank everyone who has been a part of bringing this together. Long time fan and always classic gamer - Daryl

So, are Albert and Joe going to make an Oprah sandwich like in last night's Super Bowl commercial?

Super Bowl? What's that?

I look fwd to finally meeting you AL and seeing many of you AGAIN it's been a few years but well worth the wait, I think it will be great to have a Warlords tourney, I played that back in the day with my friends and we had tourney's all the time so it will be fun to see who will give out first lol.

I've added you to the list of AtariAge members attending here. I plan on using Medieval Mayhem for an Atari 2600 "Warlords" tournament, since it's a fair bit more evolved than Atari's take on the arcade game. :)

This definitely turned my "seriously thinking about it" into "I'll be there".

Am I not looking at the right place? I don't see anything about the hours, just that it's Saturday and Sunday.

Great, we'll have a volunteer to run the Medieval Mayhem tournament! :D I'll add your name to the list of AtariAge members in the above thread.

http://cgexpo.com/schedule.htm - I'm not sure this is accurate for this year's show yet. I know some of the other pages on the site are stalwarts from the last show.
