Found a complete Jaguar system at a local thrift store today for $15!

Also found three games for $2.50 each.

 

Now to clean and see if she works.

No box, but complete with power supply and two joy sticks.

The video cable is an old NES but I'll find the AV one.

It has been taken very good care of, not nicks or scratches and the sticks are solid.

 

Games are:

Val d'Isere Sking and Snowboarding

Hover Strike

Cybermorph

 

This is the first one I have seen in the wild also, and completes my Atari collection.

Well worth treading through a foot of snow today.

Ya know... I've read this post for a while and I think... "I've have found squat in the last 10 years"... yeah 10 years... a Genesis sports game (etc.) here or there or an Atari 2600 Combat cart priced at $10!!!! - yeah right!

 

However about 12-13 years ago I did walk into a local store and the owner offered me... an Intellivision 1, 2 INTV 2's, 2 INTV 'computers' (one working, one 'quirky'), a keyboard, 12-15 boxed games and 5-10 loose carts for ..... $15.... I passed thinking what a crappy deal... :ponder: but then my complusive desire to own as much as I could kicked in and the following day I went in a bought the stuff... :P

 

About 6 months / a year later EBAY kicked into high gear and the next time I went into that store the owner was like "OH WOW DID YOU GET A GREAT DEAL!!!!!!"

 

Yeah - maybe so but the stuff has been boxed up and stored since that time (Colecovision & Atari 2600 fan)...

 

 

I've pulled it out once or twice but can't get 'into' the Intellivision controllers...

 

To each there own....

I'll take all that INTV stuff off your hands for $15 + shipping Seriously, I don't really care about the computer bits, but if you have a real nice system I (not into the white II's) laying about collecting dust, I could make use of it and the games if you'd be willing to let go for cheap/reasonable...

There's a local video game dealer who use to sell at the local flea market and has tons of Jag games and systems for sale. He's not one of those greedy fucks as last time I talked to him he was selling 3D0's for $50. I been meaning to go a visit his retail store for year but just never works out.

We have a couple of vendors in our area that are great. Tonight I bought 6 games for the Jag and the dealer cut me a nice discount on the price. If you have good dealers in your area, support them!!

About a year ago. I was at gamestop looking through a box of n64 games and found 2 loose Jaguar games in there. The clerk didn't even know what they were. They were crappy titles, but it seemed like fate so I bought them.
