Syfo-Dyas #27 Posted February 16, 2010 No doubt, it's amazing that Venture never found it's way to the 8-bit ain't it. Speaking of which did anyone ever convert Adventure II over form the 5200?

Amazing and a damn crime. Venture has to be one of the most underrated video games. At least in my area growing up I never once had an issue of waiting in line for this game. Good times. José Pereira #33 Posted February 25, 2010 Hello. A little bit out of this topic (PACMANIA on A8): Do you know why Pac-Man have the Eyes Red, when all the Enemys have them Yellow: I know the answer but I give you 1hour to answer. Greetings. snicklin #34 Posted February 25, 2010 Hello. A little bit out of this topic (PACMANIA on A8): Do you know why Pac-Man have the Eyes Red, when all the Enemys have them Yellow: I know the answer but I give you 1hour to answer. Greetings. José Pereira. Is it so that the enemies can use the same colour as Pac-Man's body? And then Pac-Man reuses the red from Blinky? This way it reduces the number of colours on screen??? José Pereira. Maybe PacMan's red eyes explain his constant need to be munching?
+Philsan #36 Posted February 25, 2010 I think eating too many pills is the cause of red eyes.

José Pereira #40 Posted February 25, 2010 I bet he's really angry bcoz José has stopped his works on Last Ninja. :D :D No, I didn't. Better things (A8 things) came up So, I'll say: C64 Sprites can have 3colours in 2:1 resol. But 2 must be the same in all three sprites (here they are yellow and Black). Than the third colour can different in the 8Sprites. But a problem here. This colour can be only one of 8colours (the byte that is enabled by the Multic.Sprites). So, Yellow is one the 8colours not doable in Multicoloured sprites. They have to put one of the 8left colours. No joke now. It was just a technical question Greetings. José Pereira. PeteD #41 Posted February 25, 2010 Oops, sorry José, you're a bit wrong there Multicolour sprite specific colour can be ANY of the 16 colours. It's multicolour char mode that has the 8 colour limit. Basically snicklin was right all along Pete

Heaven/TQA #48 Posted February 26, 2010 Pete.... one of my Vapowares... search the Atariage forum for "heaven" and "time pilot"... Time Pilot should be definitly managable on A8 as see Zone Ranger... Discussed there as well using underlays for color up the player sprite.
