newcoleco
Well, long time ago I did write a rom file during the Valentine's Day 2002 and release the file in time... but too late for many people who thinks that the game was released the day after. Since my ColecoVision web site is still down and no one seems to know that this game was actually a guessing game with an editor to change the name to guess, I've decided to find back the game and the editor and put it back online, in my blog. You can also use an HEX editor to change the name to guess, it's very obvious where to edit the file if you look carefully. The following link is a video sample of the DEFAULT rom file. There is a link in the video description to my blog as well where you can download the rom file, the editor and more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwH86jqtHTI So, if your lover like playing ColecoVision games with an emulator, send (anonymously) your modified version of my "guessing game" as an "extremely rare playable prototype" to fool the person. Have fun! Originally, this game was intended to the DigitalPress web site as their special Coleco Valentine's Day game. That's why there is a version with their mascot Commander Space Fury.

Very Cool. I think it would awesome to have this personalized in cart form. Perhaps you could offer these personalized and in cart form next year for Valentine's Day. You can put me on a pre-order list. When I saw this it gave me an idea. Would be a great start for a "Wheel of Fortune" cartridge for the ColecoVision. Awesome work as usual Daniel. newcoleco
Well, during almost a decade now, it was possible for anyone to load the rom and try it with an emulator. And I've never got a request to make a cartridge of it.
