I need help identifying an old windows 95 era 6dof flying game

I remember having fun playing an old game this was similar to Descent, but the maps mostly took place outside. I remember using the Microsoft Sidewinder controller to play it, I actually thought that was the name of the game, but I cant find anything on it. I remember that you could fly up to the clouds but they were pretty flat lookin :-/ But I remeber it was futuristic, and you can fly around at and angle like in descent.

That was a fun game, and one I spent quite a bit of time on when it was new. Plus I loved the voice of Gillian Anderson in that.
