I asked my 16 yr old son. He said not to use 'geek' because geeks were the kids that played dungeons and dragons in the corner of the cafeteria and everyone ignored them.

 

That is teenagers, for you - what do they know. For grownups, geeks grow up, get a degree, get good jobs and marry hot women (because they have good jobs and the women didn't know them in high school) and they are proud to be geeks.

 

I bought my wife a shirt that says "I love my geek".

I will say, though, that I get less of headache reading posts here than other places around the web. I guess that shouldn't be a shock, being that this is, inherently, a forum of nerdy-types :-p
