FND #1 Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) New Retro-VideoGame Store in the San Francisco Bay Area more Specifically just off Interstate 880 at Mowry Ave. in Newark/Fremont California, its located at the far end of the lower level in the New Park Mall just a few stores down from the Arcade (For the Arcade gamers) . Please visit as the owner has just recently started to include Video Games and is also buying video games from the public so there is an ever-changing stock. Last time I visited There were Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, NES, Famicom, N64, PS1, SNES. CIB and Loose, Seems to be something for everyone, Oh BTW this is a Vintage Toy Store so if you have Other interest along these lines this may be the place for you. Store Name is "HOT TOYS" 2086 Newpark Mall, Newark, Ca. 94560 Also they are in the beginning stage of wanting to do something for the gaming community like either a Vintage Game Tournament Good friend of owner was at the NWC ) or even a Gamer/collector sale/swap meet or both ? FND #11 Posted February 27, 2010 Well, time spent running that store is time not spent at MY flea markets and garage sales, I guess! Sounds good to me. Cool! I will have to go check it out. Thanks for the tip. Glad to help, BTW The owner lives in Oakland The Laney has always been good and have had very good luck at the Coliseum also, Never found much at the White Elephant Sale or Berkley Bart every so often there is something at the Alameda Point Naval Air Station Antiques and Collectibles Fair. Been hitting the Bay Area Swap Meets, Antique Shows, Auctions, Thrift Stores, Garage Sales since the Mid 1960's. Parents Started selling items at Reeds Auction about 1\4 mile from the San Mateo Bridge could of even been Russel City back then but now its Hayward, From there they opened a Antique What Not shop in Union City. The what not part was my father would rebuild Bikes this was just about the time the Banana seat came out if I remember correctly soon they went second hand furnature and Antique Store so I spent nearly every weekend from the time I was about age 8 onwards hitting these places in the Bay Area.
