Help me make space sale thread.

Recommended Posts

Hey all.

I recently moved, so I am going to be selling off extra systems and games.

Some of the systems will be complete, some will have extra games, and some will be spare console decks. Have a few Ataris that are extra (keeping the Jr. Vader, and heavy six).

I have a TG16, spare 5200 deck, Draemcast deck, a spare Saturn console deck, a handful of SNES, and NES decks etc. I do have a couple N64s, and some games on that. I have a complete Coleco with some games that can be put on the block, even have and expansion module for it (though I need to test the module still).

I was thinking of bundling some extra Atari 2600 games with a console as a sort of "starter" for someone just cutting their teeth in the hobby. I also have a mostly complete ST520 system, the only bug is the mouse needs repair or replacement (bad wires).

Do you guys think there would be any interest on the marketplace for some of these items? Just want to know if people may be looking for some of the more "classic" items I have that I can part with. More specific descriptions/details and pics will come a little later, as I am sitting in class waiting for the professor to start.

Prices will be reasonable, or best offer when I post them up. I haven't sold much of anything in the collection, ever...so this is new for me. Though I have done business on Surplusrifleforum and famicomworld, and believe I have a good rep as an honest guy.

I would definitely be interested in a TG16 bundle. Send me some pics or at least a list of what you have and I'll make an offer.

Hey all,

I appreciate the replies. I am going to have to take a little while to get some pics posted up on the bulk of it. Some of it I still need to retrieve from my parents' place (stored it there because there was no room in the apartment). I moved to a new apartment, and well, still don't have the room :P

Some members have expressed interested through the PM channels as well, but I want to be fair to everyone involved.

Got some work to do!

I am looking for an Atari 2600 with the wood finish and the Atari logo on the front. Would definitely be interested if you have a decent one, a couple of controllers, and a few games to go with it.

Last time I plugged everything in, all the 2600s worked :P I do have a pretty nice 4 switch woody, and a not as pretty 4 switch woody. I'm keeping the Vader and my heavy sixer though :P

I got all the game stuff moved (had my jeep packed to the ceiling, and that was the second load). Now I need to sort, document (as in write it down, so I can actually list it), and photograph it. Lots of stuff to do!

As a note, I only tested the 520STe to the point of playing games (because that is why I bought it), I didn't test the keyboard. One thing I know needs attention is the mouse (wiring), but you can get replacement mouse guts from Myatari or Best Electronics last time I looked. Otherwise it is complete, with cables, and monitor. There is ome yellowing here and there, but not as bad as some of the old game systems and computers I have seen.

Definitely keep everyone posted as the progress is made. I'm glad that people are interested, because if it goes to someone on the forums, I know that it gets a good home and will be enjoyed.

Looks like the T-16 lot is creating a lot of interest as it should and i think the Saturn and Atari should move too....Not sure on the Nintendo stuff. Good Luck with the sale. :)

Ok. I sorted through some stuff, and made a rough list. There may be things added to this a little later, but this is the bulk of it. There is a forum member who is potentially making an offer on the lot. BUT to be fair to everyone who is interested, here is the list, in case he doesn't want it all. More or less taking offers on stuff.

Colecovision complete

Come with spare controllers, one of which is a Super Action (but it might need button repair).

Games: Donkey Kong, DK Jr. Cosmic Avenger, War Room, Nova Blast, Frantic Freddy, Space Panic, Zaxxon, Lady Bug, and Mr. Do! Also comes with Expansion Module #1 (boxed, but box is rough).

Odyssey^2 (boxed, but the box has seen better days) needs RF converter.

games included: Sid the Spellbinder, Football, Alien Invaders Plus, Basball, Speedball-Spin Out-Crypto Logic, Bowling-Basketball, Subchase-Armored Encounter.

Atari 520ST complete.

Tested for playing games, didn't test keyboard. Mouse wires need repair. Would need your own TOS disks (unless the 1040 has built in TOS, then they would go with the system).

Turbo Grafx 16 complete.

games included: D&D Order of the Griffon, Keith Courage in Alpha Zones, Legendary Axe, Ninja Spirit, Splatterhouse.

2 Nintendo 64 systems complete (one has one controller).

Games included: Gauntlet Legends, Shadowgate 64, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Ogre Battle 64, Donkey Kong 64.

2 Saturns (one is just a deck, both need power cables). One controller, one video cable set. Probably need batteries replaced now. Games included: Virtua Cop, Space hulk, Panzer Dragoon, and an Action Replay Plus.

Grey Playstation with extra shell. I have enough controllers and stuff to make this a complete system.

2 Atari 5200 decks. One two port, one four port.

1 Gamecube, complete. You don't get my memory card! (We have a Wii).

Intellivision. Needs RF cable/converter.

games included: Horse Racing, NBA basketball, sea battle, NFL football, space combat, pga golf. Games are boxed.

1 FC Twin console. Works fine. comes boxed. I have retro duo, and this is just "fluff" in the collection.

1 Neo Geo Pocket Color. Boxed.

Games included: Pac-man, metal slug.

2 Atari wood grain 4 switchers. One is nicer looking than the other. I have enough stuff to make these complete, minus the RF converters (I swap systems between one or two, so I don't keep too many on hand).

Games included: Star Voyager, Demon Attack, Keystone Capers, Freeway, Battlezone, Street racer, Galaxian, Warlords x2, Gorf, Moon Patrol, Amidar, Mountain King (this one is boxed, but box is rough).

Atari 8 bits games: boxed Demon Attack, Oac-Man, Star raiders.

Dreamcast Deck.

2 SNES dekcs.

Sega 32X with Doom, PSU, and vid cables.

NES games: SMB, SMB3, Rolling Thunder, Legend of Zelda 2 (gold cart, pretty worn finish on it).

Sega Game Gear. Needs audio diode replaced (no sound).

Nintendo GBA. Works fine, silver unit. ratty start and select buttons though.

I have a whole bunch of Sega Genesis console decks (something around 8 ). I have enough stuff sitting around to make some compete systems minus the RF units.

I am also potentially interested in trades, or accepting trades and cash, depending. Mostly looking for Vectrex games (I only have mine storm and hyper chase). There are also Lynx titles I would be interested in, but would need to consult my lists to see what I don't have. Atari 2600 games, 7800 games. If someone had the Aladdin deck enhancer games for the NES that would make a cool trade for something, and there are other Starpath Supercharger games that I would like to get (I have about 7 of them. I have Stella Gets a New Brain, but I like originals). Famicom stuff, and Famicom Disk System games would make good trade bait too.

I will do my best to get some pics up, but it will be time consuming.

Oh yeah... I also have a clear old school game boy (the 4 battery brick one).

As a heads up. I am going to let the forum member who PM'd me get first shot at a lot purchase, as it is easier to sell to one person than keep track of over a dozen possible transactions. This is so you guys know what is available, and to give other members the opportunity to get in on it, should the other member back out.

Ok, I contacted the forum member who was interested in the lot. I haven't heard back from him yet... but if I don't get any word in a couple days, I am going to start posting pics and taking offers on the stuff system by system. Will keep anyone watching/interested in the loop of what is going on.
