Kaz atarionline.pl
Nice to inform that the original BBC Micro/Acorn Electron game "Hobgoblin II" will also appear on 8-bit Atari: You can see first public video on YT, made in emulator, with switched artifacts on, as you can see code is much faster than BBC version: http://atarionline.pl/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=638&page=1#Item_0 Coversion by xxl, Nosty will publish it through GR8 Software. Velcro_SP
Looks great, Kaz. That speed should help play value a lot. It really moves along. If the knight could move just a little more smoothly, it would be even better. And if it could have just a little more colors, anywhere, it would be even better. I remember blowing so many quarters on Ghosts and Goblins in the arcade machine at the gas station down the road from our old house.
snicklin
Wow, I love seeing new games like this, though I hope that it's a little easier than Hobgoblin I!
nosty
Wow, I love seeing new games like this, though I hope that it's a little easier than Hobgoblin I! Yes it is, so we are still trying to make it much harder!

No, no, Corina is too expensive for this game. I want to publish Hobgoblin 2 cheaper.

Too many strong weapons, too easy way... We want to balance it only. Some people finished HG1 without immortality. Defender II
Will it be NTSC compatable as well or does it have problems like Bomb Jake? When can we order?

We will test HG2 very carefully, I promise. So I believe HG2 will work on NTSC like HG1. Deadline is May 1. How about adding an Easy mode? I know some people who "hate" HG1 for being too difficult and I couldn't make it too far either. :-)

I'll talk with XXL about it.
