Recommended Posts

Hi to everyone...

I have learned and very interesting about two different the 1982 first edition pressing ET Boxes!! (factory sealed)

I would like to show you from my scanner....

Front boxes:

On the left side of front box is USA NTSC version.

On the right side of front box is Eroupe version.

Back of Boxes:

On the left side of back box only have one english version.

On the right side of back box, there is six different lanuages. I have realized the yellow sticker showed German language.

BUT!!!!!

I have realized on the side of the box (eroupe) red sticker showed "N" mean NTSC !!!!????!!!! I have not been tested, beacuse of factory sealed.....do you wanted me to test it to see if is NTSC work on my TV in Canada, beacuse we lived here with NSTC area same as USA too. That is very interesting!

Im going to sent three scanner for each post......

First post is front

second post is on the back of box

and

third post is side of the two boxes.

I would love to hear from you !!

It looks to me like the multi-lingual box is NTSC... although I've never seen a box with a German sticker in Canada.

Since you're Canadian too, Jason, you probably know about our bilingual packaging laws, hence the PAL box with the NTSC cart inside...

that would explain it, provided there is no label on the box that says for use on PAL TV sets...

Cheers!

Joey

I'm actually not surprised. I have a six language Galaxian that the trader I got it from assures me he originally acquired from O'Sheas, back when they were still cheap. Not 80 cents cheap, but $3 cheap. I haven't opened it up because I have a loose Galaxian but I trust that it's NTSC.
