Dittohead Servbot #24 #1 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) And I've seen TONS of consoles on the Internet, both the major ones and many of the more obscure ones. Okay, I think I first got it in the mid-80s. It's black with (I think) hardwired joysticks (or the joysticks could be attached right to the console). The console does black/white graphics only, and only includes four games (Pong I'm sure is one of them) that you use a switch on the console to select (and that's all you get, no cartridge slot or anything). If I saw a picture of the console I could probably recognize it instantly. I'm going by memory only; the console itself (the one I had) was lost long ago. It sounds like a console that would have been released in the 70s. There were a myriad of Pong consoles released by Magnavox, Atari and Coleco to name the most popular. RadioShack released one as well.

Dittohead Servbot #24 #7 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) http://www.thegameconsole.com/videogames77.htm I don't remember it having a silver top cover, but otherwise the Coleco Telstar Alpha looks just like the one I remember. It has to be that one. Yes, it may have been released in 1977, but perhaps in the early or mid 1980s my parents got it in a bargain bin or something. Video #8 Posted March 6, 2010 Sounds kinda like the Bentley Compu Vision. I have one, love it, has Hardwired paddles built into the system (I useually just left them in the console, they fit very well) and most importantly, it was produced in 1983...or 84, somewhere in there. So it's even the right age. Stole this Pic off old computers.com.
