I may be able to bring my "Vader" back from the dead as it is not actually dead but both of the power leads are broken. So after some research i got as far as it has 9V and 500mA so what i want to know is firstly will 9V and 610mA work and what plug does it use.(picture if possible) This will be of great help because my Colecovision is currently wasting an exessive amount of space being used only for A2600 games since the normal ones dont work.(check my thread in the CV/Adam section if you can help)

I certinaly can understand your frustration, but please consider:

 

1) Only a few hours had passed between your posts

2) You posted at a time when most of the boards users in North America and Europe were either still asleep or at church

 

Give it some time and I'm sure someone will come along to help.

Yes but firstly, there was still quite alot of people at the time and secondly, what makes you think the bulk of people here go to church?

9V 610MA is fine. You can get a suitable tip or jack at radio shack. Best idea would be to replace the jack with whatever your AC tip is. Barrel jacks are just so much better IMO.

It was 5am for me and I was online, I just assumed to was some sort of hacked up 2600. "Help me with my 2600 and it's power suply problems" in the hardware forum would have got a thread veiw & response alot quicker from me personally.

 

Speaking of that, it's 11am now and I should try to get my big bad 3 hours sleep soon.

Do you sleep only 3 hours a night every night or just once in a while? On Sat/Sun I have to work early but I like to have a little fun also so I usually get around 4 hours of sleep. I am usually pretty beat on Sunday though. During the week I need about 6 hours. That would be awesome if I only needed 3 hours of sleep each night, I would get to watch so many infomercials Seriously though, 3 hours of sleep a night would help me get a lot more done around the house Too bad I would probably just collapse

I'm very lucky if I get 3 or 4 hours sleep in a 24hr period of time. At times I'm up for days at a time. It's not very fun.

Thats what i planned on doing but i cant get a jack today becuse its labour day so nothings open.

Found the perfect jack on a singstar microphone now to set it up and see if it works.

1 - Have a sleeping disorder

2 - Have a very busy schedule, life gets in the way

3 - Have a drug problem

Sorry for all the questions but I am facinated and maybe even a little jealous of people that can sleep so little, I could just get so much more done if I slept less but I can only do the 2 or 3 hours a night maybe once or twice a week tops. I do not know if I could do an all nighter and function properly the next day, the only times I have done that was back in High School and I really had no responsibility back then.

I work in IT, and we came a cross that last year, worth a ton of laughs. It is hard to use it purely for humor or instructional, without coming across as being a prick. (Which is why I posted again, just to try to explain I was mainly doing it for humor.) Either way, it was the second hit.
