Off topic but this seems to be the place to ask

My method of going from TI to the internet consists of.....Using TI99-PC to get a 3.5" TI disk onto my Win 98 machine. Then writing the file to a PC 3.5" disk. This part usually goes well. In order to get it on line I have to bring the disk to my office and upload it there because the Win XP machine at my home refuses to read a disk formatted on the Win 98 machine and vice versa. This is a huge pain in the Arse and when I goof up the original (as in today) it gets even worse. Any ideas on Why the two are incompatible?

You may find it easier to just pick up a CF card system. Then again, you'll have to get a CF card reader for your PC, which may be problematic with older Windows versions.

Windows XP I can understand, but you still run Win98? :S Gah....

I know, I know.... but it does make it easy to do disk transfers from the PC to the TI (read that as "I all ready know how to work it without a new learning curve" ;-)
