Question about a sealed Lynx Game

Recommended Posts

So I've never been much into the Lynx, but my brother stumbled across this game at a flea market and decided to pick it up:

Now, I know that Steel Talons is about as common of a game as they come, but does anyone have any info on blister packed Lynx games? I've searched high and low, and I've seen one pic of a blister packed Batman, but not much else. Anyone have any background on these games? What about their rarity and desirability? Thanks for the help!

I have opened all my games, so I don't have any in the original blister pack, but it was not unusual. There was at least one store....Babbage's maybe.... that put them in the blister packs to help hang them on the store pegs.

I liked the blister packaging....those Lynx boxes turned out to be the ones that were never crushed.

Someone posted a picture of the games that came in blister packaging once. I can't remember where it is though.

I've recently started paying attention to these and picked up a few. The bad part: They are mostly in Europe and shipping drives the price up.

The good part... some were imported to the US... if you find them, they are generally pretty cheap!.

I wouldn't think this to be a Babbage's release with all of the French writing on it, though I could see these being imported. Anyone else have a Steel Talons in a blister pack? Just wondering if this one was known to have appeared in this sort of packaging before.

I lived in The Netherlands for two years....I might have seen the blister packs in the Dutch stores in Amsterdam.
