FND #51 Posted November 8, 2002 I see you are looking for good power supply's at a good price ? How about free or should I say just for the cost of shipping, The shop I work for used to make a thing called a Drape Boss but they are now out of production and we have hundreds of new power supply's that are going to be thrown away hear are the specs. INPUT: 120V AC 60 HZ 18W OUTPUT: 12V AC (120 pcs ) also have a bunch of 18v. If interested e-mail me Last put me down for one also FND [email protected]
Cupcakus #52 Posted November 9, 2002 Unfortunetly an AC power supply will not work. The output has to be DC for this to work. However I have solved the power supply solution! Check my new post on the flash cart subject.
LinkoVitch #53 Posted November 9, 2002 well you could always slap a few diodes in rectifier config in there and a capacitor. Sort that AC out and get it to run straght
Cupcakus #54 Posted November 9, 2002 well you could always slap a few diodes in rectifier config in there and a capacitor. Sort that AC out and get it to run straght Why? :-) This thing is too complicated as it is :-)
LinkoVitch #55 Posted November 9, 2002 Rectifiers ain't that complex, literaly 4 diodes (or a bridge rectifier if you prefer less components), and a capacitor and you can make the AC input all shiney and DC like But your alternate idea in the other thread is nicer, so deffinetly stick with that one
