Summer Games for Atari XE XEGS XL

Recommended Posts

Does Anyone has a Summer Games cartridge for Atari XE/XL/XEGS?

I'm willing to trade or buy it. Can anyone provide a scan of game, box, and manual?

Thank you!

There was no official release - however Classics converted it to work on one of his Maxflash carts - I think you can buy it from him - no disk swapping :)

Goochman: WTF?

Thanks. So there was an official release? I think I saw cartridge once listed on ebay about 8 months ago!

Anyone has one to sell or trade?

Here I've found a new copy of Summer Games but I don't think you would pay $75 (unless you're a collector).

Well,

they used a 128kbyte ROM, maybe it was already filled to the top - so there was no place for a nice title screen. Otherwise they may had to throw out one event, just for your nice title screen... ?!? On the other hand, the ROM version of SG is only for a max. of 3 players (disk version: up to 8 players!), there is no highscore or olympic/world-record save (as in the disk-version). And you still have the option (as in the disk-version) to choose one or all eight events, you cannot freely choose two, three, four, five, six, seven events - just one or all eight events...

But thanks to the cart, there are no disk-swaps !! And the opening ceremony is still there... -Andreas Koch.

the xe cart... what an ugly title screen....

Why not get an AtariMax cart and write the free image to it? It's on his site.
