Castle of Doom - Virtual Boy

Recommended Posts

I asked in the Virtual Boy forums how to make sound on the Virtual Boy. In anticipation, I whipped up a little in-game music in bB for use with Atari 2600 emulators. I made all the notes the same length and it doesn't have sharps or flats (I doubt that not being able to use sharps or flats would be a limitation on the Virtual Boy, though, but you never know). so hopefully if I can be able to program this little ditty quite easily in bB, then it should be fairly simple to do in C for Virtual Boy. (the programming language, not the key of the song. The key of the song is A minor.) Anyway, tell me if this would get on your nerves after being repeated or not. It's not too short (a total of 64 notes).

Major breakthrough: SOUND! Yes, now you can hear Bob jump! Check it out, I think it's cool. Use the link at my signature to get the latest version.

Never stop posting here because I doubt I would get to enjoy it if you did. I'm not ready to get the VB kiosk and flash cart out because of the move still, but I'm planning to add to my VB display with a flat screen dedicated emu and old 3d glasses. I love using this on an emulator, for some reason VB is better in red/blue.

Well, I just put some in-game music in. It's not quite the way I envisioned it, but it still works none the less, unlike the stupid wall collision code part. Man I wish I was better at stuff like this.
