New Addition to the Sear's Family......

Recommended Posts

After 10 loooong years I finally acquired a nice piece to my collection! Behold, Cannon Man! Picked this baby up on ebay a month ago. Total price- $30.00. I think I just got lucky cause I think alot of people must have missed this one. I just did a random search and found it. Even more weird was that a Sears Superman went for $200+....Back in the day, my family was Sears shoppers. Thank god my dad was really into video games so everytime we went we got a new game. I remember seeing a Superman and Checkers. Cannon Man however, never saw. Never new of it's existance till the early 90's! Now need a boxed Demons to Diamonds and a better boxed Submarine Commander! Anyhoo....Here is some pics!

Dude, I know you are new here and everything, and people are gushing all over you because of Air Raid, but keep your snippy comments to yourself (and the damn emoticons, too).

There are five people at AtariAge that are very reactionary. Phantom, Novaxpress, PingvinBlueJeans, Zwackery, and Shawn Sr. These are the people you really don't want to mess around with. Messing with them is like playing around with explosives. If you can remember this you will have a pretty good time at this place.

So I see...

In the first week I have been here I have learned a lot:

1) If you find a rare cartridge, there will always be people who email you telling you you are full of $hit

2) Don't make a comment about Pacman

3) No emoticons

HAHAHA

So, you're the new addition to AtariAge. Welcome. I am shadow460. Just ... shadow460.

1) If you find a rare cartridge, there will always be people who email you telling you you are full of $hit

Yep, there are the naysayers, then there are the ones who get jealous and wanna "soft core flame" you over it. Oh, and they don't just email you over it, they'll stir up commotion on the public forums for you. when they do, it's about as much fun as watching paint dry.

Oh, #4: Quoted posts get snipped, cropped, and edited mercilessly around here. Just laugh with us, roll with the punches, and you'll have a blast. Not like the one Homer (Mr. Galaxian) mentioned, though.

My perception is that it is one of the more difficult boxes to find, especially since the Atari version is so plentiful, and this isn't a game that has a high level of recognition and/or collectibility. I think I got mine in a lot with other Sears titles.

2) Don't make a comment about Pacman

Should be "2) Don't make a comment about Pacman or E.T."

If you think the reaction to your Pacman post got a rise out of the forum, do a search on E.T. to see the flame wars on that one.

...especially in that condition. Looks like it's in decent shape to me. Does it have a text or a picture label cart?

@Shadow It's in pretty good shape-The top flap is a little creased but other than that I have no complaints! It's the text version...Is there a picture label version???

In post #19, schuwalker and I are talking about Sears release Demons to Diamonds.

In post #20, is shadow asking about Cannon Man? That's what schuwalker's response seems to indicate.

AFAIK, Cannon Man is text only and Demons to Diamonds (Sears) is pic only.
