lapetino #1 Posted March 29, 2010 Hi, everyone. I'm a boxed 2600 collector and for some reason, I haven't been able to find a NIB 2600 Pac-Man. I know these things are super plentiful, but I haven't found any nice ones in my area, and also eBay has been completely unhelpful in this regard as well. Anyone have an extra to sell me? Let me know. Thanks!
lapetino #2 Posted March 29, 2010 Can someone please move this to the "Wanted" subsection? I didn't mean to put it here. Thanks.
Pyromaniac605 #3 Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) Bah! NIB crap whats the point of buying a game and never opening it to play it. -Darren- Edit: In all seriousness though I wouldn't think they are that hard to find, heres somethings to try 1:Try gamegavel or craigslist. 2:Search the whole country instead of just your local area. the-topdog #6 Posted April 1, 2010 Sorry to go against the tide here, but I actually see the logic in getting NIB titles. I myself am both a collector AND a gamer. I have CIB carts and loose carts to play the hell out of, but whenever I can, I obtain a 2nd copy NIB. It is a historic preservation thing on my part. Growing up in the 70's and 80's, these games are something that are dear to my heart and to have a pristine example of what made those years magical to me is priceless... especially when I can play the games with my kids and then show them a sealed copy in our "hall of records" of the games we had just played. So in my opinion, as long as you aren't just obtaining the NIB games for momentary gain, I applaud you.
lapetino #7 Posted April 1, 2010 So in my opinion, as long as you aren't just obtaining the NIB games for momentary gain, I applaud you. Absolutely not. I am a gamer and collector--one for playing, one for "admiring". And besides, it's 2600 Pac-Man. It's not even that good of a game.
