seanhq #1 Posted April 7, 2010 I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in a Tomytronic Pac-Man (Pac Man) tabletop. I'm the original owner of this unit. I no longer have the box, but the unit itself is in really nice shape. Screen lens is practically scratch free. It works perfectly (all lights, sounds, controls). Battery compartment is clean and also has the instruction sticker on the bottom. Requires 4 C size batteries (included) or an AC adapter (not included). At this point I'm taking offers. I will also ship world wide, you pay actual shipping. If you have any interest, send me a PM. Pictures attached.
IntellivisionDude #2 Posted April 7, 2010 I used to own that as a kid. Had a lot of fun with it. If i wasn't dead broke i'd be interested.

+thanatos #4 Posted April 7, 2010 Thank you for actually posting the pictures of it turned on. I've never seen it, but seen the game many times!
seanhq #5 Posted April 7, 2010 Thank you for actually posting the pictures of it turned on. I've never seen it, but seen the game many times! Not a problem. It was actually pretty hard to get a decent photo of it turned on without showing me or the camera in the picture, but if you look closely, you can sort of see me in the first picture

R.Cade #10 Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Those are pretty neat - I pickup old handhelds on auctions once in a while and this one doesn't usually go that high ($10-15). It has a strange flaw, though. Pac-Man only faces in one direction and you can only eat dots traveling in that direction, so it makes the game really odd to play. Not sure why they let it go out that way. seanhq #11 Posted April 8, 2010 Based on all the low offers I've been receiving, I've decided to just keep the Pac-Man at this point. Shipping alone would be around $8.00-$10.00 USD to make sure it's packed safe and secure, plus arrive in one piece. One offer was $10.00 USD shipped. That's pretty much a slap in the face IMHO. I'm never expecting eBay money from the things I sell here on AtariAge, but something like this I don't want to just give away. Thanks for everyone's interest. seanhq #13 Posted April 8, 2010 One offer was $10.00 USD shipped. Wasn't me® Hehe... correct, your offer was a lot less... oh snap! Just kidding. It's nice to be able and make light of something like this.

seanhq #16 Posted April 11, 2010 I've had a few more PM's on my Tomytronic Pac Man since my last comment. Basically if I can't get at least $40.00 USD shipped (in the USA, other countries would pay actual shipping) for it, I'm just going to keep it. I figure $30.00 USD for the handheld plus $10.00 USD to cover shipping and PayPal fees is more then fair. If someone is interested at this price, send me a PM, otherwise back on my shelf it goes. Thanks in advance.
seanhq #17 Posted April 12, 2010 Just a small update... yes I am aware that in the past these units have sold for less on eBay and that's fine. I don't run a business selling things here or on eBay. I'm just a collector like most here on Atari Age and every now and then I sell stuff I don't want/need anymore to either clear space or raise money for something else I'm wanting etc. Basically packing material to ship something like this costs money and PayPal charges fees (unless it's a gift payment). I do try and reuse packing material when I have it from receiving things from others and I always try and give people deals when I can. Also, anyone who has purchased stuff from me in the past on Atari Age knows, I pack everything super safe and it arrives in one piece, unless it's something with multiple pieces For those wondering, I would be willing to negotiate the price a little if someone was willing to send payment via a PayPal gift. So yeah, if you have an interest in this and want to work out something, send me a PM. Thanks again for everyone's time and consideration.
