leroyneiman
I got this long cartrige in a lot of Colecovision cartriges. It has no label but when you put in in, it plays Cosmic Avenger. I unscrewed the four screws and the card is long and takes up twice the space of a normal cartrige. Can anyone tell me something about this? flicky
It's a proto, although I've never seen one in a case before. :!: Could it be a Splicevision cart with a missing label? They also have long cases.

They also have long cases. Could be. I was half joking...Coleco had these long EPROM boards they used for some of their protos, but I highly doubt they ever had cases made for them. I suppose if he opens the cartridge, perhaps we can find out a little more.

retroillucid
but I highly doubt they ever had cases made for them. Yes, they have These cases were the one that Coleco use for the 2nd prototype console A prototype controller has also pop up in the past on ebay and now own by a member here I suppose if he opens the cartridge, perhaps we can find out a little more. That's something I would like too see EDIT: Even if he open the cart, the ROM should be exactly the same as the Final Version, since I'm pretty sure everything were ready to launch, but they must have a problem with the Design or something like that Edited April 10, 2010 by retroillucid

Rik
Wow,very interesting, thanks for the pics!I am however glad Coleco went with the black trimming instead of the white.I love the looks of the CV now as it is,very handsome console!I do wish they stayed with the SPEED DIAL built in the controllers though, looks very cool.
