Tr3vor #2 Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) Hey people! Just looking for some advice on emulating the original monochrome Gameboy. All I can seem to find is Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Colour emulators. Any advice??? Cheers!! couldn't you use a GBA or GBC emulator, those should work with old gameboy roms. Then you could set the colors to black and white. Video #8 Posted April 13, 2010 Visualboy advance does a good job of working the DMG. But then, I don't havea wide range of games on it, so I don't know about any problems it may have either.
adelaide-atari #9 Posted April 14, 2010 Thanks for the replies, I'll give VBA a shot and see how I go. While I've got you, any suggestions on the best place to get the emulator and roms?

Rather than bother trying to remember what files are part of the skin, I just zipped up my copy of VBA (skin included). VisualBoyAdvance-1.7.2.zip

Well you can download VBA from user42's post above or from the website I linked in my previous post. As for ROMS we can't discuss that on the site. Any semi-decent web search will find them though. Video #12 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) I think I got mine from, though they do have their own site. Oopse, the above poster already linked the emu itself... I haven't checked, but I believe that is the latest version. Edited April 16, 2010 by Chickybaby
