(looking for boxed games only, if they are complete (esp. Infocom), then even better ... no loose games or games with manual only)

Sadly these are all games I am also looking for. But I can tell you I've seen Plundered Hearts in person, unfortunately the person wanted way more than I could afford at the time.

No problem, it was the last a8 Infocom title produced. as an adventure I didn't like it very much but for a collection it's going to fetch a higher price than it's fun factor.

The A8 version of Plundered Hearts is really rare as it was the last Infocom title they released for the system (as was previously mentioned). I've seen it on ebay from time to time, but it usually went for $100 or more.

 

Thankfully I collect Infocom titles for the Apple II. Much easier to find...

Activision's: Hacker.

EA: Realm of Impossibilty, deluxe edition

EA: Archon, the light and dark (black/white cover)

 

and more.

May I ask how much you paid for Suspended? I've never seen the mask release for the A8.

 

Hm, I was looking for Plundered Hearts myself a few years ago, and seem to recall that they were going for about 50 bucks at the time. I had no idea that they were that rare!

I'll just let my imagination go wild, then. I believe that mask releases having been selling in the range of $500 for the C64 on eBay lately, so it's a very special find. Do you have the spacecraft packaging for Starcross? That's another one that I haven't seen for the A8 since about 1985 at a game store in South Florida. The last copy that I saw on eBay was for CP/M systems.

 

Can you give us a few pictures of your Infocom collection (it sounds like it's now complete), complete with 'feelies'? I'd love to see an entire grouping.

Ian Chadwick once wrote me that one of the highlights of being active in the A8 scene in the '80s was being invited to one of Infocom's Hallowe'en parties. Those truly must have been a blast to attend!

I am only collecting the non-folio-editions (i.e. the gray boxes) - I decided for myself that the folio's are out of my price range :-)
