Any word on the next official Harmony BIOS update?

Just curious what we might see, and when?

 

I know there's a beta test version with the Genesis Controller menu workaround, which is great, but I'm wondering what other goodies might be coming?

 

Compatibility with Berzerk VE?

The next release will have DPC+ support (recently added to Stella 3.1).

The Berzerk VE problem has been fixed on my end. The changes needed for a new release are to add multicart support for DPC+ (well, actually, DPC+ will not be added specifically to BIOS but instead support for arbitrary bankswitching will be added so new schemes can be supported without the need for a BIOS update.) I have to do some coding to support this so that will be done when I get some time.

 

Also, programming software needs to be updated to better support custom bankswitching like DPC+ in single-image mode. The changes needed aren't significant, but Stephen is busy with a Stella update so I don't know when this will happen.
