atari181 #3 Posted April 30, 2010 I would also say PAL and real.

No it's NTSC (I believe as it does not roll and colors are right on) , it's the basic Atari Pac-Man except no copyright on the game screen. But I thought this picture was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Space men (I guess are the ghosts)zapping pac-man well 3 of them(men)....like I said , I had to get it ! Pioneer4x4 #5 Posted April 30, 2010 Is that the Eiffel Tower on it at the top? It is funny looking. Does the game map match?
Shquata #6 Posted April 30, 2010 (edited) Is that the Eiffel Tower on it at the top? It is funny looking. Does the game map match? Yes , I was wondering if anyone would notice it. It's small but it's there , why , I have no idea , but then again , nothing on this label makes sense !! Does that make it "Le Pac-Man" ? dark-aleph #8 Posted May 1, 2010 I'll save Rom the trouble - here it is. Looks like you have the long-cart version. These Taiwan pirates all seem to have a long and short version. The font, cart style and art-style all match the Taiwan double-game packages which I just got a bunch of recently from Germany. Looks like they were pumping out NTSC pirates as well. I don't collect label variations, just whichever version of a game is cheapest to get, but these pirates are so awesome looking I can understand why some people would have fifty Pac-Man pirates in their basement! Ranthulfr #9 Posted May 1, 2010 Looks like the ghosts were re-imagined as robots for that cartridge.
mbd30 #10 Posted May 1, 2010 The robots on the cartridge are supposed to be from France?

Thanks for the info. Now I wish I had the box ! . The short cart must be realy short , since this one is already about 3/8 inch shorter than the standard Atari cart. Looks like the font is different from the picture but you said it matched the double games and obviously I know nothing about this cart. Also when they did the label , this one is off center but it has more of the picture (3 pac-men and they show the whole Eiffel tower...thank God , wouldn't dare insult the French and cut off the tower ) also a seperate end label. But this artwork/picture is great ! I saw it and just thought ...wow , you know how off the translations in manuals is on anything cheap from Taiwan , but this for pac-man is just too funny. Glad I picked it up. Thanks again for all the help info on it. TheOldGuy

Put in my Gallery , now I need to know which one of you made this !!!! It's this one: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-pac-man_20282.html Except yours is NTSC and has a longer label. Could you make a scan of it for the database? It's not found that often. Not really a Double-Game Package cart, although it looks very similar. Nice find. Rom Hunter #15 Posted May 1, 2010 At least 300DPI would be great. Only cart front and at least 400 pixels width. You can post it at the Scans for Rom topic. Thanks!
