Gunstar #1 Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) I used to be a collector for the Lynx, I owned the Lynx 1, two or three years back (owned it for years), and I sold it off when I needed some money, with the large soft-case, and about 50 games. Just before I had sold the Lynx 1, I had bought a non-working Lynx 2 off e-Bay for $10. I finally got around to fixing it last week. How it happened was I had decided to do a 64K upgrade to an Atari 400, of all things, and found out that the required ram chips for the mod were the same found in the Lynx 2. I was going to scrap out the Lynx and steal the ram chips, but at the last minute, since I had it all apart anyway, I decided I would go over it with a solder gun in case it was non-functional just due to some cold solder points. That is all it was! At least I think so, it turns on and the screen lights up, unfortunately the only Lynx game I had on hand to even test it with was a non-functioning Cyberball card! It allows me to power up the Lynx, but that's it, so now I have to get some Lynx games again... Edited May 1, 2010 by Gunstar

Gunstar #3 Posted May 2, 2010 Cosmetically, it's in new condition, it just apparently never powered on and was a return or something. IIRC, it was B&C who had it up for auction. So I have a mint Lynx now, but just the core unit with no power-pack. I have to use batteries.
