TimsterAA
I've had this room set up the last few years (started collecting in 2005), but over the last 12-18 months, it got very neglected and turned into more of a monster mess than a fun game room. A couple weeks ago I asked my stepson to come help me out, and we cleaned up a lot of crap and reorganized. Last weekend I finally put the (current) finishing touches on it. Take a look... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MZhThquFFc --Timster--

Ghost Soldier
Nice collection, and everything is playable. Sure beats games sitting on the shelves collecting dust.
TimsterAA
Nice collection, and everything is playable. Sure beats games sitting on the shelves collecting dust. LOL. Ironically, the games are all on shelves above and below everything you saw, collecting dust. But I agree 100%! What's the use of having all this stuff if it's not readily usable! --Timster--

akator
I love the idea of having many of the CRTs and systems running at the same time, if only to recreate some of the atmosphere of an arcade. For some reason, that never crossed my mind before as a possibility (duh). Your collection is remarkably similar to mine... although, you're a few steps ahead because I haven't gotten around to finishing the room and hooking everything up yet

Yeah, that is a cool touch for when friends are over or in this case to shoot a video. Whenever I'm up there playing anything though, it's normally only one machine at a time. I actually don't think I'd want to have everything going at once very often because that would probably use up a lot of juice. It does create a nice ambiance to have multiple machines going though - especially if they've got arcade-y type games with noisy attract screens running. It was kinda funny that I had so many things running, I couldn't even remember the one screen was showing the 3DO. --Timster--
