+SpiceWare #1 Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Portal is Free! for both Mac and PC. Their list of Mac games has 63 items. There's fewer than 63 games though as some of those are compilations, such as the Steam Play Indie Pack which includes 5 games that are also available separately. SoulBlazer #2 Posted May 12, 2010 Portal is Free! for both Mac and PC. I have this game on XBox Live. Even though I don't normaly like puzzle games, this one is fun. Great game here, folks! For free! PC AND Mac!

+SpiceWare #4 Posted May 12, 2010 I have it on my PS3 via Orange Box. Very fun game, I normally can't play FPS due to motion sickness, but I was able to play Portal. I tried the other games in Orange Box and got sick within 15 minutes. While fun, EA did a poor job with the port. The load times on the PS3 are atrocious and they don't support 1080, only 480 and 720. My HDTV doesn't accept a 720 signal so I had to play it at 480 Other games designed for 720, like Ratchet and Clank, will scale it up to 1080, they look noticeably better than the 480 games. Player 3 #5 Posted May 12, 2010 I've acquired it. Does it disappear after May 24th or could I save it until I have a PC to run it and it play?
burning_mice #6 Posted May 12, 2010 Thank you so much for sharing this. I would've missed this and been very sad later on without this. Thank you!
roberto #7 Posted May 13, 2010 Wow!! I bought the Orange Box long ago but I'm going to spread the news to all my colleagues! I guess this is a good strategy to relive the interest and awareness in the game before a Portal 2 gets out later this year.
doubleminor #8 Posted May 14, 2010 Played this on Orange Box and downloading it now for PC. Love this game.
DaytonaUSA #9 Posted May 14, 2010 I'm a Mac user, and was happy to hear Steam came to OSX. I've been waiting for it, but kinda forgot to download it when it came out. This motivated me to finally make the plunge. I'm downloading it right now to my Steam account. It was pretty easy to set up an account and "buying" the game was pretty easy. I like the videos and reviews right there for you to see. I'm afraid I'll get quite addicted to this thing. My Mac is brand new and should perform really well. I can't wait to buy more games and to play more games on my Mac. This is an ingenious idea, and finally should solve the Mac game drought problem for good . Tr3vor #14 Posted May 25, 2010 I've acquired it. Does it disappear after May 24th or could I save it until I have a PC to run it and it play? To my knowledge, now I still have it and can still play it, its the 24th, so... hopefully it stays, but it doesnt say X many days left, like some other limited time offers like the r.u.s.e. beta or mw2 free weekends... Animan #17 Posted June 3, 2010 Arg! I thought this was for Mac's only, then I read that it was Mac's and PC's... after May 24th. Curse my luck.
