Recommended Posts

Im ticked, I have discovered this great game and now when I want to buy it most cats want 150 for it or more.

cats be tryin to copy your style, is why

lol.. that was an unexpected response. +1 for that, hahaha..

Edit: Now that I look at it, I'm surprised the lowest price is $150.. Comparatively speaking, going by the Nintendo Age list, Aero Fighters on the SNES is a R8. It doesn't seem to go for much more than $80, cart-only, if that.. Little Samson is apparently a R7 (cart-only).. Strange that it would go for more money. Maybe more people are looking for it? I don't know.. Can't say the game would be worth that price if you're just trying to play it, but I did look up some YouTube videos on it, and it does look quite good, possibly up there with the Mega Man games. Maybe not quite, but close, from what I can tell..

It's funny I didn't remember what this one looked like. I am pretty sure they covered this in Nintendo Power (that I used to subscribe to) way back in the day, and I remember virtually every game covered in those first hundred issues.. :o

my Wife, who owns about twenty games to my thousand+, managed to find Aero Fighters and buy it from the rental place as a kid, meaning she has the rarest game between the two of us. She had no idea it was anything special. I try not to be jealous. She's also the one with breasts, and I've learned to accept that.

Well, let's look at the facts. Little Samson is a very good game, perhaps one of the better titles released for the NES. It was also released at the end of the system's life, in limited quantities, with little promotion or advertising. Throw in the fact that nostalgia for the NES is currently at its peak and you've got the makings of an extremely rare and sought after video game.

With NES seems like a lot of fun late titles are getting pricy. I'd compare this one to Panic Restaurant and Snow Brothers. Fun games, somewhat rare, that are just an excellent play through. They are in the Rare Fun games group.

The store at the mall here has snow bros for 74.99... out of my range right now, but I'd love to have it. What's funny is how I agonized for a week after spending a whopping 40 on the Sublime Ikaruga while simultaneously popping down 50 without batting an eyelash for the less-than-sublime Castlevania Judgment. I'm less likely to spend big money for an older game, even if it's a better one, even if it's only one generation older! If someone asked me now if I would trade Judgment and 14.99 for snow bros, It'd be done before they closed their mouth.

So that's my advice - compare it to something else you might spend that amount of money on and decide if you'd rather have that other thing, or if you'd trade a little samson cart for that object if asked

Oh and Aero fighters is a Great game, not just a good one... best top-down shooter on the Snes, or maybe just butting up against axelay

well for areo fighters I went a different route: Bought the super famicom game sonic wings and put it inside a super nintendo cart and transfered the lable

Hey, not bad... but why didn't you just bust your SNES's tabs and play the Super Fami straight?

I really hope they do another SNK classics volume for the wii and include sonic wings 2 or 3. Probably won't happen.
