I believe it's the same with Commando. Allan

devwebcl
but where can I find the kit to do the network with other a8 ? or there is a way to play with emulators? Edited May 26, 2010 by devwebcl
Kjmann
but where can I find the kit to do the network with other a8 ? or there is a way to play with emulators? There is no kit. You just need two Atari Systems with two Midi Mate interfaces OR two SX212's OR two XM301's. The emulators Do Not support it.

krupkaj
We talked about the MidiMate and MidiMaze here. With this interface you can use original image of the game as there is the external oscillator. It is possible to use simple Midi interface too (I remember there was a Polish site with the schematic), but in this case you have to use patched game. It is not necessary to have all interfaces in the ring the same. We had 2 interfaces with external oscillator and one without and it worked nice (of course you have to use appropriate version of the game). Unfortunately we could not play Midimaze in heterogeneous network with Atari ST although it is written in the manual that this works. Maybe we had not the right version of the game on the ST. It worked ok until the game started - it was possible to set the maze and player's names though.
