atari games are they worth it?

Not for me at 55. The total value is not great but selling separately with so many common games would be hard to sell them. I sometimes sit on common games for a couple of years and they don't sell as fixed price items on a nonebay site. Lot of 1-2 dollar games and only a few would get a little more than that. I would do that for 45 as pickup, wouldn't buy them for 45 and have shipping price as well, tho cause I don't mind having inventory sit. I can always play them in the meantime, lol. Editing cause didn't see where you said you aren't going to buy them. Man I wish there was a way to delete posts here.

Well considering I just paid $15 for a boxed Keystone Kapers posted (only saving $3 not boxed), I reckon that's decent value. On ebay you can sell almost any game for $10 if you include postage, so if you pay around $2 a game, why not. That's my opinion.

 

And I would had bought. In Aus I reckon I could had got that back EASY. I'm getting the general idea there's more of a demand for Atari over here.

 

Some people do ask too much, there's a buy it now for a system and the 32-in-1 cart for $60. Even though there's 32 games, it's only 1 cart. I wouldn't pay $20, maybe just under.

I assume they're all loose carts. But if some of them are boxed with manuals, would be good deal. If you look up most of them games on Ebay US, I would wager over half of those games can be purchased BIN from some sellers in loose cart form for 5 dollars or less with shipping included in that price. Not big profit margin on these. Plaque Attack is the most expensive game I believe. About an 8 dollar game or so. Couple 5-6 dollar ones in there as well according to how I would price them.

Eh, 55 is an ok price. Not really a *good* one. Also, is this a heavy sixer? Those are worth a tiny bit more.

I would say yes, it's a great deal. I bought a Vader system with controllers and 33 games for $20 at a yard sale. I cleaned it up, removed the jitter from the paddles and just sold it on Ebay for $120.

 

That lot has some nice titles in it, too. So, I'd say $55 is a good deal, especially if it's a heavy 6er.

If you plan to play the games, then it's a pretty good deal. There are some excellent titles in there, plus the system.

Anyone here knows that x, y, and z will hook them up for something cheaper. For ebay however, that's a better-than-fair deal imo, and will probably sell. Just a word to the wise though: if you are able to video mod it (without drilling the chassis please, I hate when modders so that), it will be worth more for very little invested. 2600s that are video modded with only a few common carts are going for about $80-100 of ebay.

Oh I know that from here on ebay.de (Germany) too. The most egregious examples are when they have the 32-in-1 and some other loose cartridges and then "add them together". E.g. putting into the title "Atari 2600 with 39 Games" and then you look at it, it's really an Atari 2600 with the 32-in-1 and 7 other games.

All game carts are anywhere from $3.00-5.00 at the thrift and flea markets around here.So i would jump at it, you have at least 40 games there, 40X $3-5?, plus a system! yeah i say so!, heck yeah.If most of the games were the ones i don't have, depends.

Plaque Attack? I'm thinking you might pay more for bump n' jump or perhaps the cart w/ the missing label...hmmm

It's a good deal if you don't have many of the games or if you want the system. It comes to a little over a buck per game if you consider the system to be free.

 

I started by buying a few lots like this and trading off the dupes at a loss. Now, since I've got a whole truckload of games, I'd probably pass on it.
