Its HEAVY it has the rounded edges and the shielding is present because when I bought it in 1998 I opened just to find the the shielding and a reciept for a repair made in '83!! I cleaned the console and left the sticker inside!! Ive heard that there is a number on the console where is it located?? can some one take a pic of their sunnivile showing the location of the number?? THANKS!! King Atari #2 Posted November 16, 2002 All I know is that if it has the rounded edges, it's a heavy sixer. The later six-switch systems were shaped like the four-switch systems. I'm guessing you have a Sunnyville model, though I can't help you with the number.
Ze_ro #3 Posted November 16, 2002 From what you described, I'm pretty sure it's a Sunnyvale model. I think they stopped using the rounded bottom when they moved the production. --Zero
StanJr #4 Posted November 16, 2002 I just picked up a Sunnyvale TODAY! The serial number is on the TAG as well. If the label is not there, then the best way to tell is by the moulding (which fools me, I need the tag). AA has some nice pics of the moulding to show you the diff in the Hardware section of the 2600 area.
