Final Fight Capcom press kit - $50 shipped!

Recommended Posts

I have one of these..

http://shop.capcom.com/store/capcomus/en_US/pd/productID.187954300/Final-Fight-Double-Impact-Press-Kit.html

With shipping it came to $75 I believe. I kind of impulse bought this thing since I don't really have a spot for it in my collection at the moment so my loss is your gain. $50 shipped gets it, my tape is still sealed and the spray is shrinkwrapped so it is the same as buying it brand new from Capcom. Who knows, might be worth a fistful of cash some day since they are limited edition (300 made I heard but who knows) Let me know if you are interested, Thanks!

So, almost two years later are these worth anything yet? Are they more rare than the Mega Man Press Kit? I still have both in my display case.

Nope. As of Comic Con last year they were still selling that at their booth at a discount. I suspect their claim of 300 or being otherwise limited was pretty bogus as most such claims are with Capcom.

Really? That is a bit of a surprise. I know that the Mega Man PK's claim of only 200 made was off, as Capcom produced more to fill the void of lots of orders. However, with this it seemed more believable. Hell, there's not even a single one on eBay right now. I didn't know they sell them at Comic Com, I'll have to get more.

Yeah, I sold a lot of my stuff like this to fund pinball purchases but I am going to track another one down if they are still selling cheap. This seems like one of those things if you sit on it for 20 years you will have something everyone wants :)

Doubtful. The fact that they included a can of hairspray which is unlikely to remain stable for many years and that the bulk of the kit is just the foam rubber barrel and a t-shirt with a couple of tokens and a tiny button makes it less than desireable for many collectors, especially since it's just a digital game.

It's been all over the place. When it first came out and appeared to be very limited, copies were going for $600+. For a while it was between $100 and $200 and now that the flippers have gone away and the supply has become less available, it's going for $200-$300. Ultimately, it's a neat item, but they clearly manufactured hundreds and hundreds of additional copies beyond what they initially claimed.

Woah, I don't know about FFPK, but the MMPK went way up...

I knew that when it first came out and went on eBay it was going for several hundred. Then Capcom released more than planned, and it went way down. This is when I picked up mine, for about $125. However, I had no idea the price skyrocketed again. That one in the link sold for $482! Glad I still have mine, sitting next to the FFPK. :)

Now after 5 1/2 years, the Final Fight Press Kit seems very hard to find. No idea what its value is listed at. Mega Man Press kits are on eBay though, in the $400 range
