pinball22 #1 Posted June 10, 2010 Are we sure that all the Xante games that could exist are listed on Atarimania? (Alien, Atlantis, Beany Bopper, Cosmic Ark, Crypts of Chaos, Demon Attack, Fire Fighter, Mega Force, No Escape, Solar Storm, Trick Shot, and Worm War I) Also, do we know what all games could have been put on the Romox cart? (No, I haven't suddenly become fabulously wealthy... not looking to buy them, just curious. )

Of course there are more. Don't know how many, though. Also, do we know what all games could have been put on the Romox cart? Never seen another one of these, aside from mine.
pinball22 #4 Posted June 10, 2010 Aha, good to know there's a list for the Romox ones... very cool that you have one, CPU. I guess no one has a similar document for Xante?

I own one not on that 2600 ROMOX list. It's International Soccer. I don't think the catalog is a complete list.
A.J. Franzman #6 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) If you only want to know what games theoretically *could* be put on the Romox cart, see Kevin Horton's sizes.txt file. All of the 15 games in the Romox catalog except for Porky's are 4k. Porky's is 8k, F8 bankswitched. I don't know whether this means Romox had an F8 cart, or if they included Porky's by mistake and it would not actually work. In either event, any 2k or 4k game (all those with a blank in the "BS" column of sizes.txt) which doesn't need extra RAM should be able to work in the Romox cart, provided that 2k games are concatenated to themselves to fill up the 4k ROM space. If there really is an F8 Romox cart, then it should be able to work with any F8 game. Likewise, all of the Xante games appear to be 4k games, meaning that their cartridges could also work with any non-bankswitched, non extra-RAM game. Edited September 4, 2010 by A.J.
