tz101 #1 Posted June 12, 2010 (edited) Got a Wico Command Control bat handle joystick CIB. Box and instruction manual look like new. Payed $2. Was this a reasonable deal? Edited June 12, 2010 by tz101
jferio #2 Posted June 12, 2010 Well in the realm of reasonable. I've paid $3-4 for such joysticks loose.
Ranthulfr #3 Posted June 12, 2010 If the stick is in good working condition I'd say you got a *great* deal.
ATARIPITBULL #4 Posted June 12, 2010 No doubt you got a good deal !! I paid like $7.00 for the one I had.
Mirage #5 Posted June 12, 2010 How can anything that you can use that is only $2 be a "ripoff" or even worth worrying about once it's yours? I can see wondering if you paid $200 for an item if it was worth it, but $2? Really? Not hatin', just sayin'. And yes, I think that was a great deal, by the way!
accousticguitar #6 Posted June 12, 2010 That depends on how much you paid for shipping.
DickNixonArisen #7 Posted June 12, 2010 I would be happy paying as much as ten dollars for a (clean, working) Wico loose. They're great sticks. Most of mine came cheaper. Even a broken one might be worth a dollar or two for parts.
Mirage #8 Posted June 12, 2010 That depends on how much you paid for shipping. Well, that's true, I was reading it as $2 total (bought in person).
+HammR25 #9 Posted June 12, 2010 (edited) Totally ripped off. I'd only give a quarter for one. You wasted a whole $1.75 in my book. Edited June 12, 2010 by HammR25
tz101 #10 Posted June 13, 2010 I bought it in person for $2. No shipping fees involved.
Mirage #11 Posted June 13, 2010 Then good deal if you can use it, case closed! Next!

Mirage #14 Posted June 13, 2010 It's not about nothing, it's about two whole dollars. That's enough to buy a hot dog from a street vendor. No, not in a big city like NYC, but in a medium sized city like Milwaukee maybe. Or, you could buy two boxes of cotton swabs from a dollar store. You could use those to clean games with. Of which you could probably get 4 of with that $2 at a cheap thrift store. Or a PS1 game from a regular thrift store. Sometimes the grocery store has blocks of cheese on sale for $2 each. You could probably even buy a gallon of off-brand fabric softener with $2. Look at all the fabulous options having that $2 back could get you. Man, you didn't get ripped, you just flat out screwed yourself out of life itself.
tz101 #15 Posted June 13, 2010 Chill. It was a rhetorical question. I didn't actually think I got ripped.
Mirage #16 Posted June 13, 2010 Chill. It was a rhetorical question. I didn't actually think I got ripped. Chill? I was joking around with you. Chill? Really? DUH. "What we have here is a failure to communicate". LOLZ
Cebus Capucinis #17 Posted June 13, 2010 Oh, I'm sure this thread will get interesting soon enough. These always do, and I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. (I'm staying out of it this time, aside from this one post) To stay on topic: Nope, that was a great deal! I don't even have a Wico stick yet, I'd easily pay $5 for one as I've never even used one at all by the best of my memory.

Miss 2600 #25 Posted June 13, 2010 People still use the term "chill" ? I thought that went out with Vanilla Ice? I still use the word "chill," usually "chill out." I also like to use the word "hella" whenever I can.
