Tr3vor #1 Posted June 17, 2010 (edited) I played the game once, then left it on to check Email, Steam, etc. while the game was on. apperently the color-chage after inactivity started up, then the fruit and enemy waves on the top left of the screen dissapeared, then the whole screen went one color, without player sprites, then repeat... Could this be a Glitch? Could I have bumped my Atari REALLY hard? Could I have a bad console? Could it be the game? The world may never know... Edit: It does not affect the gameplay graphics. That is really strange. I never seen a game crash yet still keep some kind of valid information on the screen ( I.E. the score) usually when you bump it you end up with a garbaled screen or loss of VHOLD/HHOLD. interesting. have you been ale to duplicate the error?(without bumping the console of course). I'm interested to know if its the ROM.
Nukey Shay #3 Posted June 17, 2010 It's not a glitch. That's just the "screensaver" mode kicking in. This is done through software, which is why not all games feature such shifting color patterns.

He noted that he knew that the "screensaver"(image burning prevention) kicked in. however the spites disappeared as well. i havent seen a "screensaver" that altered sprite location.
