jeremysart #1 Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) And Im pretty excited about Donkey Kong Country Returns. I hope they did a good job on it, hope to see some of the old enemies make a return. And a Goldeneye remake, was not expecting that! Edited June 20, 2010 by jeremysart
xg4bx #2 Posted June 20, 2010 theres alot of great stuff on the wii this year. i dare say that, barring any surprises, it has the best line-up this year.
fiddlepaddle #3 Posted June 20, 2010 In my opinion, the best year to become a Wii owner will probably be about 2015 or 2016, once everyone has moved up to the Wiiwii, or whatever they call the next generation. That's when I'll be picking up my console with a bunch of games for twenty bucks.

Most of the people who had their hands in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark went on to form Free Radical, the makers of Time Splitter.

Yeah, perhaps I should have said "Rare being bought by MS" rather than owned by MS... (as the buying was more th eissue than the owning since much of what they own now is the rights to certain franchises -so not quite the case of some other MS acquisitions and certainly not like Psygnosis and Sony) Still it would have been neat if Nintendo had collaborated with some of those others too. (or did they?)

SRGilbert #9 Posted June 23, 2010 Interesting that bond doesn't look like pierce brosnan. Hadn't you heard? They've changed it to Daniel Craig, seriously.
lisalover1 #10 Posted June 23, 2010 Nintendo blew everyone out of the water at E3 this year. Microsoft's conference was just people flailing their arms [and legs] around like rag dolls on the stage, and was embarrassing for anyone involved. Sony's conference was plain and simple, just a 2-hour-long commercial. Hell, half of their time was spent bragging about their two new advertising campaigns! Don't even get me started on Ubisoft's conference, which only had one good announcement. Nintendo was the only one to show any new games, and the 3DS was a showstopper. Everyone else should have just packed up and gone home at that point; you can't beat that.

Up until I seen footage of the 3DS I was pretty skepticle and certain I would not buy into it. But now I am kinda psyched.. Star Fox 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time with enhanced graphics and in 3D? Sweetness. And it looks like they might come out with a NSMB title as well from the tech demo. I am just worried that Donkey Kong Returns is not going to bring back any of the baddies from the original. I seen no Klumps Kritters or Klaptraps.. just those goofy tiki masks that feel kind of impersonal.
Atari2600Lives #12 Posted June 24, 2010 Donkey Kong Country looks returns like it carries the DNA of the original (one of the greatest scrollers of all time IMHO). Looks like I am going to be playng a Wii this Christmas
