chrisbid #1 Posted June 20, 2010 part 2 of my youtube baseball series baseball games on the genesis in general tried to 'out real' each other. these home run trots just arent as exciting as the nes games were. the trot in world series baseball 95 was especially bad, it took over 30 seconds for the man to slowly run around the bases. i had to cheat and triple the video speed to keep the video under the 10 minute youtube limit. i think my favorites are tommy lasorda, sports talk and world series baseball. unsurprisingly, these are all sega first party titles thoughts?

I had WS 95 and remember enjoying it quite a bit. One of my favorite was an import - King of Pro Baseball for N64. And those super-deformed little buggers hauled ass around the bases when they hit a home run. Very fun game once you figured out how to set your defense up (in japanese), but the only player recognizable in the game is Ichiro. Morgan
CGQuarterly #3 Posted June 20, 2010 Hey, I enjoyed watching both of those videos. Are you planning on making any more of them for other systems? Chris

chrisbid #7 Posted June 20, 2010 Do you know what you are going to do once you have made home run derbies for all systems? Chris not yet, i could use the same concept with other sports (ie touchdowns in football games), but im not necessarily a sports video game guy. i do like the "variation of a theme" theme. to me, this is not really different than watching all the differences between all the ports and knock-offs of pacman. i have a lot of work left to do with the next two videos, and i am still only borrowing my friends analog capture device. so if i decide to continue to make other videos, i will have to invest in some more hardware, and the wife may not be too thrilled with that.
