adams_ale #26 Posted November 7, 2003 I just got xenophobe and I love it! It has some of the best graphics I've ever seen on a 2600 and it's great fun!!!
Room 34 #27 Posted November 7, 2003 Oy! How often does this come up, and I never can resist! Well... I have started putting reviews on my website. I've only reviewed about 25 games for the 2600 so far, and it's scattered, but still some good games to consider... here are the top 10 reviewed games so far: H.E.R.O. Solaris Asteroids Berzerk Cosmic Ark Keystone Kapers Pitfall II: Lost Caverns Stargate Yars' Revenge Adventure
SteveW #28 Posted November 7, 2003 In no particular order: Escape From The MindMaster Adventure (I can play it over and over and never get tired of it) Secret Quest Riddle of the Sphinx Yar's Revenge Phazer Patrol (it plays best when you fry the game!) Dark Caverns Maze Craze (loved playing against my brother when we were kids!) Berzerk Desert Falcon (it was fun until I got the 7800 version) Othello Airlock (hey, I was young. I didn't know any better.) Asteroids (I rolled the score three times once) Lock 'N Chase (it was free thru M Network's buy 2 get one free deal) Laser Blast Solaris (shows you how advanced 2600 games could really be) Planet Patrol (like I said before, I was young! Don't judge me!)

ozyr #44 Posted November 13, 2003 My top picks that I still play from time-to-time: Frogger (for the SuperCharger) - Best version by far - I can't believe this is on a 2600! Millipede - Much better than Centipede - the action is non-stop. Robot Tank - A fantastic first-person perspective tank game. Solar Fox - A simple but highly addictive space game. Warlords - Flinging fireballs at your friends was never so much fun.
lvanett #45 Posted November 14, 2003 some of my fave games: Enduro Starmaster Q*Bert Crystal Castles Dig Dug Pengo Kangaroo Tapper (really great adaptation!) Joust Star Wars: The Arcade Game I also have some faves that I wish had better graphics: Pole Position Mr. Do!'s Castle (altho they did a great job with the music) I really wished they could've added more courses to Pole Position, but I know you can only go so far on the 2600...
