Classic Video Game Homerun Derby

lots of systems, lots of baseball games, lots of home runs.

 

i cover pretty much every other classic system in this video. im sure everyone has their favorites, but i want to take the opportunity to express my hatred for super action baseball on the colecovision. you have to use the spinners on the super action controllers to get your men to run the bases. playing that game is like every overacted video game playing scene in a movie... you know... the one where the guy or kid is hunched over the controller with a grimace on his face pressing the buttons really hard and overacting in general... that is playing this game.

 

my nostalgic favorite is great baseball on the master system. that home run music is epic.

What other game has the crowd sound in Pete Rose Baseball? I know I've heard that in another game.

 

Also, the player on the Realsports Baseball cover always looked like Tony Larussa to me.

 

That Intellivision game with the side view looks kinda cool.

that intellivision game was world series for the ECS component. i had to use emulation as the only copy on ebay i could find was 250 dollars
