Can I get a 2600 from an antique store?

Around where I live, the flea markets probably don't have many video games, just junk or hunting supplies. I've been wondering if an antique shop is a good place to get a 2600 in good (or at least working) condition. So, is it? Or should I scour nearly every summer yard sale in my county?

Sure! Most antique shops don't just sell 100 year old lamps and furniture. They sell all kinds of things. I got a Pac-Man (and a KISS) lunchbox in an antique shop one time.

I have found several 2600 units (7800 as well) in antique shops. But They tend to be pricier than flea markets and garage sales. At least that has been my experience. I agree to try to get one in the marketplace here. It'll at least save you on gas money

uggghhh I hate goodwill.com ever since they come out wit that. my local goodwill went up in prices.

Agreed!! that site has truly hindered buying all things Atari at goodwill. because now you dont even get to see alot of the good stuff if you go to the actual store because if the item at that location is listed on shopgoodwill they will keep that item in back and you need to still bid on it online, then go into the store to get it. its such bullsh*t!!
