BeerGnome #1 Posted November 20, 2002 I dont own a coleco vision.. YET! but thanks to an interesting day, I now own 11 carts for the system, more on this is elaborated in the off topic forum. but, there seems to be an odd ball in the collection sorry no flat bed scanner for pics, but the cart seems to be standard shaped for a colecovision cart, except the cart its self doesnt have cutouts on the back for what I can only assume are overlay storage areas. the label is a metalic silver, and the lettering is in black only. on the end it says: Quest on the front it say's, verbatium: QUEST for QUINTANA ROO Presented by SUNRISE software inc. the sunrise software logo is a solid black half circle on a horizontal plane with a black line seperating sunrise from software inc. now, this allready seems to be bring up some questions, if any one has any idea what this is all about, or if anyone has a link they can send me to pick up MESS roms so I can check out these games I now own, I would be most appreciative
oesii #2 Posted November 20, 2002 here's your MESS roms: http://pkg.lugbs.linux.it/PACCHETTI/Mess-r....de/old/coleco/ and you can pick up some game roms at DP ( www.digitpress.com ), look under the emulators section. I just played the CV in Mess yesterday and it works and looks great. I have MESS .56 for the Mac, I think the PC has been updated to .62 The Quest for Quintana cart you have is a little rare but not extremely, maybe something like a 4 or 5/10. Rarer than Zaxxon, DKong, etc. but nothing to go crazy about I'm not sure what you're asking about the cart, Sunrise ported that game to a bunch of computers and consoles, there is are Atari 2600 and 5200 versions listed here on AA. If you have some other questions, check out the forums at www.colecovision.com

BeerGnome #5 Posted November 23, 2002 the silver label quest for quintana roo generally runs between 15 and 25 dollars loose. there is also a gold label variation and several box variations. willie well..that's nice to know thanks for the info. as for the collection I got take a look at let me know if anything stands out as well as wuest, there was also mousetrap, ladybug pepper II Carnival Venture Smurf, rescue in Gargamels castle space fury Ken Ustons Blackjack/poker Looping and, of course donkey Kong. I'm sure this is mostly just a base gathering though I got this from a freind, who's buisness it is to turn over abandoned apartments, I traded him two Legend Brown Ales for them, considering he likes the beer, and I dont pay for it any ways.. i think it was a good trade now all I need is a colecovision on wich to play these games
