I bought some games from a used game store to pad out my Intellivision collection. The guy sold me stuff like Beauty & the Beast CIB, Tron Maze-a-Tron CIB, and Frogger CIB for $2 a piece which I thought was reasonable.

 

The real kicker is that he had two different Dungeons & Dragons titles CIB for $12 each. I thought this was kind of high so I passed on them. Is that a reasonable asking price for those games?

$12 each isn't unreasonable for the AD&D games, but it's a little higher than other sources. I think Atari2600.com sells CIB copies of Treasure of Tarmin for about $10 and Cloudy Mountain for about $7. There seems to be more of a nostalgic appeal to the AD&D games, which might be why they fetch a higher price.

for 12$ you can get those games sealed, check Ebay. there's a seller for my country who has 2 auctions starting at 6$ with 6 more for shipping, normally those auctions ends with only 1 bid, you can also wait for the next one.

I'm guessing you could get those from some of your fellow AA'ers for less than that, although they are both certainly games worth getting.

Cloudy Mountain remains one of my favourite games.

i have cloudy mountain... which i can sell for around $5. boxed complete perfect shape but missing a flap on the bottom but doesnt matter really.
