Midi was pretty fast at transferring data. It may have been faster than the standard ST drives.

 

Sorry mate, but Midi has 31.25 kBit/s transfer rate, which is 30.something kB/s. I hazard a guess that even the oldest Atari disk drive could match that. :cool:
