These 7800 games are going for a lot

Recommended Posts

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2304971424881?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=230497142488&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

I know they are sealed but those don't seem like that hard of games to come by. Less than an hour left at the time of this post and it's at $81 with free shipping.

Well, since the shipping is free, it worked out to $8.10 per brand new-in-box sealed game. If someone was starting out with 7800, I don't think it's all that bad. Plus, they get the convenience of ten high-brow 7800 must-haves in one transaction. If they were $5 each used, with shipping on each transaction, it would be considerably more for used games.

Well, all but Karateka are still available from O'Sheas at $5 a pop new (+ s/h). If the company ever gets around to smelting their stock, the value might go up, but plenty of people bought enough of these in bulk that the market should be able to be replenished for some time.

They did smelt their stock. It says on the electronics page they only have 20,000 games left. I guess they held a few of each back to sell.
