Atari Rarity Scale

i think the rarity scale that atariage has should be changed. for example:

a quadrun is a 10 but a magicard is also a 10 but the magicard is much more rare and more valuable. i think the scale should be a 15 or 20 instead of a 10 (more broader). there are games is the same catagory that are rarer than others in that catagory.

 

what are your thoughts?

10 is more than enough to keep track of or deal with. 20 would be too insane and would just cater to the whims of the extortionists. Besides, Quadrun just got dropped to a 9.

That one I'd almost agree with. Maybe it deserves to be a 10 +.

I agree. If Spinal Tap's amplifiers can go to 11, why not AtariAge's rarity scale?

I think the rating system should stand as is. Maybe there could be a rarest games section for each system listing each in order of rarity. (Similar to what the OTHER site does with the 5200 games). Of course, there's no real need to go beyond the 8s for any of the systems.
