Atari Re-makes

Recommended Posts

With Atari is making new games based on their classic Atari 2600 games like Hunted House, Centipede, & Star Raiders for the Xbox 360, Ninetndo Wii, & PC, I was wondering what classic Atari games you guys would like to see get re-made into a new updated game?

Now me, I would really like to see them make new games based on the Adventure, Berzerk, Yars' Revenge, & Swordquest (Earthworld, Fireworld, Waterworld, Airworld) games.

I don't know if they own the rights to Berzerk since that was from Stern. Adventure may be tricky as I don't know how it would transfer to a 3d view since the only thing the walls stop is the player. I remember the Doom mod someone did of Adventure (just the playfield...nothing was animated) that was really cool. I also don;t think the current Atari would even care about the Swordquest series. Now, if we're talking XBLA stuff and just having modern updates, stuff like Dodge 'Em and a wicked version of Surround could be great.

Why would they remake Centipede based on the 2600 version?
