VideoGameFreek #1 Posted November 23, 2002 How many own Frankenstien's Monster? Just curious, I remember when it had first came out. The only way you could have purchased it new was if you bought a pizza at Pizza Hut. I forget what my folks paid for it new in 82-83. Man, where does the time go? rolenta #10 Posted November 23, 2002 I purchased mine in a store. DataAge had sent me an advance copy of the game which featured a flourescent orange label. I returned it to them so I could stay in their good graces and remain on their mailing list. Had I known that was to be their last game I would have never returned it. tillenterprises #16 Posted November 25, 2002 I got a loose copy, too. You could get it at any store where Atari was sold. Perhaps Pizza Hut had a discount coupon for it if you purchased a pizza?
AtariDude #17 Posted November 30, 2002 I don't have this game. Is it a fun game to play?

Lost Monkey #19 Posted November 30, 2002 I went to Pizza Hut and asked about this yesterday. The knowledgable teen working the main cash had no idea what I was talking about.. So there you have it, straight from the horse's mouth (as it were), a spokesperson for Pizza Hut denies any knowledge of a so-called "Frankenstein's Monster" promotion. I am going to ask at Boston Pizza tomorrow... the truth is out there... waaay out there...
NitroGreen #20 Posted December 11, 2002 I am new to the boards but anyway I have this game as well and I love it, I just saw one for sale on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1944289544&rd=1 Jump on this game before someone else does you wont regret it
joeybastard #21 Posted December 11, 2002 I used to have it when I was a kid and I know I bought it in a store without any kind of Pizza Hut promotion. I love this game, I think it's one of those less talked about gems of the VCS. Actually I like most of the Data Age games although I think most people don't.
