Good way to remove game labels?

I have some games with excellent labels, but the games themselves don't work. As I come across games that do work, but have bad labels, I would like to be able to transfer the boards.

 

Is there an easy, nondamaging, way to remove labels to get access to the screws?

Heat gun or hot blow dryer will do the trick. Just don't get the heat gun too close or you may blister the label in certain cases.

Also, I found out it's REALLY easy to discolor label with too high or too much heat even from a hair blower.

Funny, my hair dryer doesn't get that hot. I often have to get it less than 1 cm away just to get the glue to soften.

I found a few dead carts with nice cases and labels. I'm considering doing this if I get crappy label versions.

Yep, depends on the quality. I think the cheaper hair blowers have only 1 or 2 heat settings, hot and hottest.I actually almost burned my scalp with the hair blower I have now!
