Anyone have a video of that MTV Sonic & Knuckles Tournament? I remember watching that as a kid and thinking how much better I could do than the contestants.

I just finished watching it. That was some good old-fashioned MTV 90's cheese. Pretty cool, though. I wonder how much Sega had to spend on that 30 minute infomercial disguised as a TV show.

 

The Genesis was the only 16-bit system I had back then, but I must have been too wrapped up in DOS gaming because I don't remember ever hearing about that game.

Unfortunately, by 1994 among my circle of friends, those of us who had Genesis consoles weren't giving them any love. It was all about PC gaming and M:TG.
